Rabbi Dana Evan Kaplan will lead the discussion about forgiveness and letting go.
“We will see how they are appropriate in different circumstances and can help us to mature as human beings and stop being stuck in the past,” Kaplan said.
A main goal of the Jewish High Holy Days is to forgive people who have wronged them.
“Forgiveness is a conscious decision to release feelings of resentment, anger and the desire for revenge towards someone who has hurt us. Sometimes, we may not be able to forgive but we still need to move on,” Kaplan said. “Bad people may be bad and they may remain bad, but we want to live whatever years are left to us with as much happiness and joy as possible.”
Course fee is $20 for members and $35 for non-members, or a one-course coupon. Books of four coupons are $65 for members and $120 for non-members.
