It was standing room only at the Recreation Centers of Sun City exchange meeting April 8 at Sundial Recreation Center as residents massed in support of two community libraries.
“We’re not the least surprised to see a crowd today. We are surprised about how big it is. We put out twice the normal number of chairs and, obviously, that is not enough,” said RCSC Vice President Karen McAdam, who was chairing the meeting on behalf of President Kat Fimmel, who is on a planned vacation.
Normal business was postponed as the board sought to address the libraries situation as the vast majority attending sought to speak about it.
