Vice Regent LaVonne Rasmusson and Registrar Leslie Eaton, of the Sun City National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Agua Fria Chapter, administered the NSDAR Oath of Membership to Agua Fria’s newest member, Mary Anne Pennington McMartin.
To qualify for admission to the NSDAR, one must have proper documentation for proving direct lineage to an American Revolutionary War patriot. McMartin’s patriot is Pvt. Michael Zeigler, who served in the South Carolina Militia under Capt. Jacob Rumph and Lt. Col. W. R. Thompson and rendered patriotic service.
