Sun City Lions teach flag etiquette

Posted

The first-graders at Sunset Elementary in Glendale were recently instructed by members of the Sun City Host Lions Club on how to respond when spotting the American flag coming towards them at a parade: place their right hand over their heart and stop talking until the flag goes by.

Many Lions clubs around the United States have taken on this project to instill patriotism for not only the country’s flag but also for America itself.

Call 802-349-9749 to assist with this project or other Sun City Host Lions Club projects.
