Several West Valley agencies have expressed a need for bikes for their clients, and to help, Desert Garden United Church of Christ, 18818 N. 128th Ave., has initiated the Cycles of Kindness program to provide bikes for New Leaf’s West Valley Housing Assistance Center, the Dysart Community Center, Dysart School District and Homebase of Native Connections.
Anyone with a bike to donate to Cycles of Kindness can call the church at 623-584-1795 and arrange for delivery or pick up. The church has designated funds for the purchase of parts, helmets and locks before the bikes are given to one of the agencies.
Members of the Sun City West Cyclist Club are willing to help with repairs.
