Osborne: Keep Sun City the way it is for seniors
Posted
By Brent and Linda Osborne, Sun City
My husband and I have lived in Sun City on 108th Drive for three years after moving here from a family neighborhood in Laveen.
We are in our 60s and have children of our own, but we chose to buy a home in Sun City because our neighborhood is quiet. No basketballs bouncing, no cars screaming by our house, no children to look out for when driving down the street. We appreciate the quiet and peace of living in Sun City.
We realize that life changes and people have to make difficult decisions. But we are not willing to sacrifice the charm of Sun City for the possibility that it could become a family community.
Please do not grant a decision that would jeopardize Sun City’s 55-plus status.
