Sun City residents support Ukulele Club’s outreach program

Jean and Joe Abel donated like-new concert and tenor ukuleles to the Sun City Ukulele Club to use in the club’s outreach program.

One of the goals is to get ukuleles into regional libraries to loan out to their patrons, just like a book or DVD. These two ukuleles are destined for the El Mirage Library, where patrons can play the instrument just as they have done at the Fairway and Bell libraries.

The Sun City Ukulele Club meets all year, 3 p.m. Thursdays in the Fairway Music Room. It is open to all RCSC members and no previous skills are needed.

Visit scukes.org or contact club president Trudy Bryson at 480-276-3780 or trudybryson@cox.net for more information.
