Sun City church service offering supports veterans

Diane Gahm and Hedy Hall, of United Church of Sun City, presented the Easter sunrise service offering of $1,144 to Mik Milem, executive director of Soldier’s Best Friend. The donations will support one veteran/dog team for two months of training. Soldier’s Best Friend is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides service/therapeutic companion dog training at no cost to veterans while also giving Arizona homeless dogs loving homes and a meaningful mission.
