Church men host Octoberfest fun

The Men’s Club at Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 Spanish Garden Drive, recently hosted an Octoberfest dinner for parishioners and guests.
This was one of the many events sponsored by the group. Some of their other yearly events include Thanksgiving and St. Patrick’s Day dinners. They participate with the Advent Church Women in pizza and bingo and wine and cheese evenings, as well as the church’s annual rummage sale.
They also provide assistance for other yearly events. The club members distribute $10,000 annually for a variety of community outreach projects.
