A Valvoline Instant Oil Change is proposed for a plot of land at 1375 N. Higley Road, Gilbert, that was recently sold, according to commercial real estate website vizzda.com.

Two trusts tracing to Michael L Hughes and Myrna G. Hughes, each with 50% interest, acquired the property Nov. 29 for $2.59 million from an entity tracing to Avalon Development.

The site is 1.0642 acres of vacant commercial land.

The location is planned for an auto repair building totaling 2,088 square feet with three service bays for oil change and a customer waiting area, according to the town of Gilbert’s development site.
