Arizona Big Train Operators will hold annual Christmas open houses in December.
Members open their train layouts to the public to view different style layouts both inside and outside and decorating with the Christmas theme, according to a release.
The trains can be seen at 12 homes in Mesa, Sun Lakes, San Tan Valley, Goodyear, Avondale and Phoenix 4:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 11-12 and 18-19.
Check azbigtrains.org for the addresses of the participants and for any updated information.
Tax-deductible donations are accepted and used to maintain the train layouts at Cardon Children’s Medical Center and the Ryan House and also for Arizona Big Train Operators activities.
The Superstition Mountain Museum Railroad, 4087 N. Apache Trail in Apache Junction, will be participating 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and showing off its “G” Scale Railroad for the enjoyment of kids of all ages.
