Sun City church raises money for Hospice of the Valley

The Congregational Church of Sun City, 18401 N. 99th Ave., presented a check to Diane Walton of Hospice of the Valley, which has offices in Peoria, Surprise and Glendale.
The total donation amount was $1,634, raised by a silent auction at the church’s annual Arts and Crafts Fair which drew around 70 vendors.
Items for the auction were donated by vendors as well as church members and friends of the church.
The church crafters and quilters group also donated a variety of handmade items to Hospice of the Valley.
