Man transported to hospital after explosion at TSMC

One man was transported to a Valley hospital with serious injuries after an explosion happened at TSMC on Wednesday afternoon, according to a press release. 

About 2:30 p.m., fire crews responded to a call of an explosion at the TSMC site near Dove Valley and 43rd Ave, the press release stated. 

Firefighters from Phoenix, Glendale, and Daisy Mountain fire departments responded to the construction site on Wednesday, the press release stated. 

No other details were provided. The investigation is ongoing.
