Bottorf raises financial profile

The second quarter of the Peoria City Council election cycle has concluded and campaign finance filings show Mesquite District candidate Tom Bottorf far ahead of the pack, raising nearly 60% more than the nearest competitor.

He is also spending four times the nearest competitor.

During the second quarter reporting period, which ran from April 1 to June 30, filings show Bottorf raised $47,330, while nearest competitor Matthew Bullock raised $19,570.
