Peoria Unified candidates talk issues at forum

The candidates for Peoria Unified School District participated in a forum discussing issues important to those in the district Oct. 15.

Candidates Desiree’ Byrne, Melissa Ewing and Heather Rooks fielded questions ranging from school safety to funding.

The forum was hosted by the Peoria Chamber of Commerce and Peoria Unified Parent Coucil, and modified by chamber CEO and President Rhonda Carlson.
