Election complaints have been filed against a candidate for Hassayampa Constable and a candidate for Hassayampa Justice of the Peace.
Darren Emfinger, a write-in candidate for Arrowhead Constable, has filed complaints claiming Scott Blake, the current Hassayampa Constable who is running for reelection, has illegally campaigned while wearing his official uniform badge and gun, among other allegations.
Emfinger has also filed a complaint claiming Danielle Blake, Scott’s wife and current Pro Tem judge in Yarnell who is running for Hassayampa Justice of the Peace, has illegally campaigned for her husband and son, which Emfinger says is prohibited according to rules governing justices of the peace.
