ISA Student Council collects stuffed animals for Phoenix Children’s Hospital

Posted

The International School of Arizona Student Council in Scottsdale recently organized a school community-wide effort to collect stuffed animals for Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

The initiative is part of the student council’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the local community, a press release stated. The group believes that providing a comforting and familiar stuffed animal to a child in the hospital can make a world of difference during what can be a difficult time.

“We know how important it is for children to have a sense of security and comfort when they’re in the hospital,” Student Council Coordinator Susan Butler said in the release. “By collecting stuffed animals, we hope to bring a little bit of joy and comfort to the kids at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.”

“We’re thrilled to partner with Phoenix Children’s Hospital on this project,” said Head of School Jason Smith. “It’s wonderful to see our students taking the initiative to give back to the community in such a meaningful way.”

The International School of Arizona is a private school located in Scottsdale, offering a rigorous and comprehensive bilingual education to students from preschool (18 months old) through 8th grade. With a focus on fostering global citizenship and cultural understanding, the school provides an educational experience that prepares students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
