A Glendale-based business serving the Valley since 1961 is a finalist for the 2023 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics.

Forrest Anderson Plumbing and Air Conditioning, a family-owned business, is located at 17225 N. 63rd Ave..

The annual program from the Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest recognizes outstanding businesses that maintain a solid commitment to ethics and trust in the marketplace.

“My grandfather started this company in 1961 with core values that are rooted in ethical business practices. To this day, we incorporate my grandfather’s values in all of our processes,” Audrey Monell, Forrest Anderson president, shared in a news release. “To be recognized as a finalist for the BBB Torch Awards proves our company values remain strong in today’s business economy.”

BBB Torch Award for Ethics finalists are selected by an independent, voluntary panel of judges comprised of business and community leaders. Nominees are judged based on the character of the organization’s leadership, how an authentic culture is being fostered, how the company prioritizes its relationship with customers, and the impact the organization is making in its community.

“Honesty builds trust, which is a vital aspect in the success of a business. For 21 years, BBB has been recognizing outstanding companies in Greater Arizona for their solid commitment to doing things the right way,” Shelley Bradley, BBB Serving the Pacific Southwest director of signature events, stated.

Winners for the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics will be announced Nov. 15 at the Arizona Biltmore.
