2023 ELECTION

UPDATE: Deer Valley district bond, override measures fail

Maricopa County 2023 election results were not updated until 5:35 p.m. Nov. 8 but Deer Valley Unified School District had read the writing on the wall.

But the amount of ballots turned in before this week started is likely much larger than what is left, and DVUSD conceded in a press release the morning of Nov. 8 that its bond and override continuation measures will fail.

The district bond proposal has 16,063 votes (44.98%) for and 19,651 (55.02%) votes against.
