Chuck E. Cheese spends $1.55M on Arizona improvements

Chuck E. Cheese has invested $1.55 million in physical infrastructure, programming and hiring in five “fun centers” in Arizona, part of an ongoing national effort to upgrade the brand around the country.

Nearly 300 remodeled and refreshed Chuck E. Cheese fun centers across the country have been hosting reopening festivities. The company is rolling out the events to highlight improvements and changes, including new games, all-you-can-play promotions, menu changes and more.

The company has Valley locations at 2977 W. Frye Road in Chandler; 13371 W. McDowell Road in Goodyear; 8039 N. 35th Ave. in Phoenix; and 6773 W. Bell Road in Glendale.

“This investment reflects our strong belief in Arizona, our strategic drive for sustainable long-term growth, and will empower us to meet the evolving demands of our guests,” said David McKillips, president and CEO of CEC Entertainment, LLC, parent company of Chuck E. Cheese, in a statement. “We will continue to provide innovative entertainment that delivers a wholesome, exciting, and fun experience -for families with young children.”

The investment is meant to solidify the company’s position as a player in the family entertainment industry in Arizona and drive innovation that will benefit guests, employees, and the community at large.

The company focused on funding infrastructure development, product and menu innovation and personnel training and recruiting, officials said.
