Campaign finance watch: Peoria City Council race

Of the two candidates fighting to win Peoria’s only competitive non-mayoral seat, only one has received contributions from local residents, reports show.

The Nov. 8 race pits incumbent Vicki Hunt against newcomer Jennifer Crawford in a battle for the Acacia District.

Their campaign finance reports for the first quarter show Hunt with a balance of $10,057 and Crawford with a balance of $50, her own personal money.
