The Team Bradley Bear Foundation will hold its fifth annual golf tournament 9 a.m., Oct. 2 at the Talking Stick Golf Club, 9998 E. Talking Stick Way, Scottsdale.
Founded in 2017 by Edward and Elissa Cassavant after the loss of their 13-month-old son, Bradley, to a rare brain tumor, Team Bradley Bear provides financial assistance to families facing household and treatment-related expenses while caring for a child with cancer, according to a press release.
Since its founding, the nonprofit has helped more than 500 Arizona families. The annual golf tournament plays a critical role in funding that support, with proceeds from the event helping more than 212 families and counting since 2022.
