Much has been made by Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky’s unpaid traffic ticket from Oct. 14, 2025, but police records show it wasn’t an isolated incident.
Borowsky made headlines in August when it came out that a photo enforcement ticket, which had her clocked doing 58 mph in a 40 mph zone last year — when she was mayor— was never paid and was ultimately dismissed because a process server could not reach her.
But a public records request shows Borowsky was cited 13 times in Scottsdale since 2008 with half of them listed as she is unavailable for contact.
