Scottsdale Community Bank announced in a press release that two of its founders were given Hall of Fame honors on April 10.
Frank Jacobson and Joe Garagiola, Jr., were both honored. Jacobson was inducted into the the Scottsdale History Hall of Fame for his leadership and commitment to community service in Scottsdale.
Garagiola, Jr., was honored by the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame for his work in helping establish the Arizona Diamondbacks through his work on the Arizona Baseball Commission and the Maricopa County Sports Authority, as well as serving as the franchise’s original general manager.
