For those traveling this Labor Day weekend, gas price will hit an all-time high for this time of year, AAA Arizona said in a release Friday.

Despite prices in the Valley dropping 7 cents a gallon this week to $4.62 a gallon, the price represents an 85 cent increase over last year’s $3.77 a gallon.

In Scottsdale, a gallon of regular gas costs an average of $4.73. That is up 2 cents per gallon over a week ago. However, that's 87 cents above this time last year.
