Queen Creek’s parks & rec advisory board taking applications

Residents who are interested in shaping the future of the town’s parks, trails and recreation are invited to apply to Queen Creek’s parks and recreation advisory board.

“We’re looking for community members to serve on the parks and recreation advisory committee, a volunteer role that helps guide important decisions about our community spaces and programs,” according to a town statement.

The terms of six of the 11 current members expire in August and September.

Appointments to the boards are recommended by the mayor and considered for approval by the town council. Applications for committee membership remain active for one year from the date of submission.
