Queen Creek plans 'Cardboard Box Car' event

For Earth Month, Queen Creek is hosting Cardboard Box Car “Drive-in” movie on Friday, April 5 at Founders' Park.

It's not too late to start building your cardboard box car for the Cardboard Box Car “Drive-in” movie set for Friday, April 5 in Queen Creek.
Residents are encouraged to bring “box cars” made from cardboard and other recyclable materials, a town press release stated.
In honor of Earth Month in April, the town’s Environmental Services Division will host a screening of “Finding Nemo” at 7:15 p.m. at Founders’ Park, 22407 S. Ellsworth Road. Free popcorn and water will be served starting at 6:30 p.m. while supplies last. The event is free, but registration is required.
Additional resources to celebrate Earth Day every day in April, including an Earth Month calendar, Queen Creek trails scavenger hunt, a free drive-through recycling event, online games, and free landscape watering workshops, can be found at QueenCreekAZ.gov/EarthMonth.
