Posted

Queen Creek is currently seeking residents to serve on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee.

“The committee offers assistance and advice in the development and review of goals and objectives for parks, trails and open spaces in Queen Creek, as well as recreational programs and events,” according to a town press release.

The committee meets at least four times a year, though more meetings may be held as needed. Meetings typically take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Committee appointments are made by the mayor with the approval of the town council. Term lengths are two years, with a limit of three terms.

Serving on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee requires living in Queen Creek municipal boundaries. Visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/DoILiveinQC to confirm residency.

Those interested can complete an application online.
