Queen Creek council could open door to more public murals

The Queen Creek Town Council will be voting on whether to change the town’s sign ordinance in a move that could bring in more public art.

At its Sept. 2 meeting, the council is set to hold a public hearing and take action on a proposed amendment to the town’s zoning ordinance defining murals and which ones are exempt from sign regulations.
