Community tips lead to Queen Creek drug bust

The community is getting credit for a drug bust by the Queen Creek Police Department.

Following numerous tips, QCPD on April 17 executed a search warrant for a residence in the 21500 block of E. Calle De Flores suspected of ongoing drug activity.

The search resulted in the seizure of illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash, according to a statement from QCPD on Thursday.

One person was arrested and booked on multiple felony narcotics-related charges.

“As I have said before, no community is immune from crime, but we can work together to prevent it, hold offenders accountable and send a clear message that criminal activity will not be tolerated in Queen Creek,” stated Queen Creek Police Chief Randy Brice.

QCPD is asking the public to report suspicious activity or safety concerns by calling the non-emergency at 480-358-3500 or 911 in an emergency.
