A clinical agreement recently approved between Brookline College and Queen Creek Unified School District allows nursing students to work with district nurses as part of a school practicum.
The agreement was approved by the Queen Creek Unified School District Governing Board as part of a Nov. 12 consent agenda. It also was approved by both Brookline’s attorneys and the district’s attorneys, according to the meeting’s agenda.
“‘Facility’ agrees to provide a supervisory staff member whose responsibility will be to (1) coordinate the clinical experience of all participating students in the education program; (2) make provisions for adequate orientation of faculty and the students of ‘School’ to the ‘Facility’ programs, policies, and proper channels of communication; (3) make provisions for adequate exchange of information between ‘School’ faculty and the ‘Facility’ staff; and (4) interpret and notify ‘School’ of changes in ‘Facility’ policies and procedures,” according to the agreement.
Brookline College has undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing, health care, business and criminal-justice/legal, according to brooklinecollege.edu.
