Peoria considering bond authorization for 2027 election

The city of Peoria is considering placing a general obligation bond authorization on the ballot in the November 2027 election, according to a news release.

City staff at the Aug. 11 study session will give a presentation to city council requesting to commence a process considering the election.

The study session is at 5:30 p.m., in the council chambers, 8401 W. Monroe Street. It is a discussion item only for council, and they will not take any formal action.
