New veterinary clinic planned for Peoria

A new 20,000-square-foot veterinary service facility is planned for the Thunderbird Wellness Center commercial center near Thunderbird Road and 67th Avenue.

The Peoria Planning and Zoning Commission approved a conditional-use permit Aug. 20, which allows for the veterinary use in that area.

“The provided services are not unlike what you would typically see at a vet, which includes preventative care, diagnosis services, imaging, surgery, dentistry and pharmacy services,” Senior Planner Sarah Dircks said.
