Looking for trouble: Local band members take up summer side project

A band born out of Cheri and The Pacemakers is setting up gigs to play into September.

Sun City’s Dan Krohn and Peoria’ Larry Hill, members of the aforementioned band, said they needed to stay busy musically once it went on hiatus for the summer. So they formed The TroubleMakers, playing classics from rock to country to slow grinders, and sharing thier sound with the West Valley.

The band also consists of Larry Evans on guitar and Bill Chism on guitar.

Upcoming dates at Sunset Bistro at the Lakes-Westbrook Village include Aug. 6 and Aug. 20, as well as Sept. 10, all from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Table reservations are highly suggested at 623-566-1132.

Cheri and the Pacemakers features Sun City West resident Cheri Adams on vocals, keyboard and electric guitar; Sun City West’s Dave Albert on electric guitar and vocals; Hill on bass; and Krohn on drums and vocals.
