The city of Peoria’s 48th annual Dolly Sanchez Easter Celebration is Saturday, March 30, 8 a.m. to noon, at the Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Avenue.
Families will enjoy an inclusive experience of fun, free entertainment where kids can fill their Easter baskets and participate in spring-inspired activities.
Children of all ages and abilities are invited to stroll through Cottontail Lane on the main stadium field to collect goodies, giveaways, and candy-filled eggs for their Easter baskets. Many items on Cottontail Lane are designated with a teal egg to indicate safe items for those with food allergies. There is also a jump rope giveaway.
A variety of specialty breakfast food trucks will be onsite, and sports complex concessions will be open for snack foods and beverages.
