The 2024 Sunrise Mountain pitching staff is a microcosm of the larger team deep, versatile and adaptable to any situation.
Perhaps the most important word to describe the group — and again, the whole team — is selfless.
“We don’t have a ton of huge commits right now. We have some kids signed to play JUCO or NAIA ball summer,” Sunrise Mountain coach Michael Deardoff said. “What’s been fun is they’re really great kids. I haven’t had a grade issue or a discipline issue all year. They’ve grown up together.”
