Household hazardous waste pickup appointments open in Peoria

The household hazardous waste collection is for items that typically cannot be deposited into the regular trash.

City of Apache Junction

Appointments are open for Peoria’s residential household hazardous waste collection program through Oct. 23.

The city provides by-appointment pickup for Peoria residents who receive residential solid waste services.

Accepted items include: chemicals marked as dangerous, paint thinners and pesticides, rechargeable and automotive batteries, aerosol cans, up to 5-gallon limits of oil-based paint, gasoline, motor oil, and antifreeze.
