Free Caregiver Institute is coming to Peoria main library

Build confidence and gain practical tools during the free Caregiver Institute, a six-week interactive class series designed to support caregivers of young children.

Participants will explore topics including child safety and wellness, early childhood development for ages newborn to 5, caregiver skills and support, and healthy habits. Each session features hands-on learning, take-home activities and incentives.

Free on-site childcare will also be available during classes.

The program will be held Mondays and Tuesdays from noon to 2 p.m., Aug. 31 through Oct. 13, at Peoria main library, 8463 W. Monroe Street.
