A sampling of building permits from the city’s website (by address, date issued, description, value, type of work and contractor or applicant) are:

• 5057 S. Power Road; Nov. 5; four-story wood-framed hotel with 174 guestrooms, amenities include full restaurant, event lawn and pool area; $23,189,012; other commercial; Porter Brothers Inc.
