We support Anna Thomasson for mayor

Posted

In the upcoming election for the Town of Paradise Valley mayor, voters have an unique opportunity.

In the current election cycle, many voters find themselves holding their noses and choosing the lessor of two evils. This is not the case for Paradise Valley mayor. We have had the privilege of getting to know all three candidates. We like them all and recognize all are very well qualified and each would make an excellent mayor. We thank each of them for their service and acknowledge Paradise Valley is a better place because of their contributions.

All candidates are fiscally responsible, committed to public safety and determined to protect and preserve the quality of life and professional government. Each candidate works well with others and would champion the town’s interest before the State Legislature.

Over the past 50-plus years, three generations of our family have served the town. Those positions include, but are not limited to, vice mayor, police chief, Planning Commission chairman, police volunteer and legal intern. In making our decision, the question at this time in history is which candidate brings the right combination of experience, time and energy to serve as mayor over the next two years and our enthusiastic choice is Anna Thomasson.
