SUSD could soon take other districts’ special needs students

The governing board unanimously approved during its Sept. 8 meeting a tuition plan that would allow the district to take students requiring Level D services from other districts.

After Pima Elementary school was shut down for the start of this school year as a cost saving measure, the district put all of its students requiring Level D services in the building.
