Royse Contemporary, 7077 E. Main St., Suite 6, is presenting “Mood,” a solo exhibition by Daniel Shepherd, through Oct. 4.
In this new body of work, Shepherd pushes the possibilities of color, line, abstraction and collage, creating compositions that are both raw and energetic, according to a press release.
Moving fluidly between painting and collage, the artist embraces bold color, expressive movement and layered forms to explore the emotional and visceral power of abstraction. “Mood” offers a look at Shepherd’s evolving practice, bringing together a diverse collection that is vibrant, immediate and full of energy.
