Nine years of showcasing Arizona artists in Paradise Valley area

Summer Spectacular showcases local artists across a variety of mediums through Aug. 30

Nicole Royse opened Royse Contemporary, an art gallery in downtown Scottsdale, nearly nine years ago after spending years curating art exhibitions across Phoenix.

Since then, the gallery has focused exclusively on showcasing the work of Arizona artists.

To celebrate the gallery’s anniversary each year, Royse hosts the Summer Spectacular, its largest and longest-running exhibition of the year.
