Paradise Valley Police Department personnel participated in firearms training and qualification recently as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to maintain officer readiness and public safety, according to the town manager's Oct. 23 weekly update.
The training was led by PVPD Firearms Instructor Corporal Robert Clement #174 and conducted in accordance with Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training requirements.
The exercises focused on firearms proficiency, safe weapon handling, accuracy and decision-making under pressure.
