Program participants have access to scholarships and emergency expense funds, as well as tuition assistance.
A team of volunteers and staff members from AFFCF will be present Nov. 11 to assist with the packing effort. The event’s goal is to prepare 120 care packages containing comfort items, like holiday blankets and fuzzy socks, beanies, first aid kits, mini flashlights, a word search, gift card, snacks, and encouraging letters from community members, the release states.
The event will be hosted by Subaru as part of the vehicle maker’s annual Share the Love Campaign.
