Paradise Valley area teens teach Valley kids financial literacy

Phoenix Country Day School students create Dollars & Decisions

Two Phoenix Country Day School seniors are teaching Valley children how to save, spend and invest through a financial literacy program they created after seeing firsthand how financial hardship can affect young people.

Braden Shuster, a Phoenix resident, began volunteering with SWIFT Youth Foundation as a freshman and then joined the organization’s Teen Leadership Board with Scottsdale resident and classmate Sahil Aggarwal.

The two started Dollars & Decisions in May 2025 after separate experiences made them want to help children better understand money.
