An approximately 7,975-square-foot expansion is being sought on the south side of an existing office and warehouse building.

The RV service building is to be constructed on 5.8 acres at the Little Dealer Little Prices, a Campers Inn RV company at 2038 N. Country Club Drive in Mesa.
A recreational vehicle service building is to be constructed at a business north of McKellips Road and west of Country Club Drive in Mesa.
The development’s look and landscaping were discussed during the Aug. 11 Mesa Design Review Board meeting. Board member Nicole Lynam was absent.
An approximately 7,975-square-foot expansion is being sought on the south side of an existing office and warehouse building, Staff Planner Kwasi Abebrese said during the meeting.
“Primary access to the site is from two existing drive aisles on the east side of the site from North Country Club Drive. Overall a total of 59 parking spaces are required for the existing automobile sales facility and the new addition. The site plan shows a total of 61 spaces provided at the south side of the existing office building,” he said.
The RV dealership does much of its service and maintenance work outside or under shaded canopies, Jason Doty of Scottsdale Architecture, wrote in a project narrative.
“The company wishes to provide a safe working environment for its valued employees, so they want to build a new enclosed and air-conditioned building. This building will have eight interior service bays for recreational vehicles,” it states. “This application is made to request a substantial conformance improvement permit to get approval to build a new accessory building for service work on RVs. We are asking for the existing buildings and parking area to remain without major upgrades.”
The all-volunteer Mesa Design Review Board is unique in that its composition is set by the zoning ordinance to include two architects; two from other design professions such as landscape architecture, engineering, urban planning, interior design or other design-related background; one contractor or developer; and two residents, according to the city’s website.
