Indo-American Cultural Club to host Holi festival in Mesa

The Indo-American Cultural Club will host Holi, the Festival of Colors, at Eastmark Great Park in Mesa this Saturday.

The Indian festival, which signifies the arrival of spring and the victory of good over evil, will take place 11 a.m.-3 p.m. March 23 at the Baseballl Fields and Dog Park at Eastmark Great Park, 4907 S. Insperian Parkway in Mesa.

According to a press release, the festival will be attended by more than 1,000 people from all over the Valley.

Attractions include a color-throwing extravaganza where participants splash each other with color powder, cultural dance performances, food stalls featuring Indian delicacies, DJs playing Bollywood music, and more.
