MESA - The nominee for lieutenant governor on the Democratic ticket says he sees no conflict between having declared himself to be "pro-life'' in 2024 and then, just months later, voting for a state constitutional amendment that lets women terminate a pregnancy up until fetal viability.
"I voted for it,'' John Giles said. "It accurately reflects my personal point of view on the topic.''
In his first press conference since having been tapped by Katie Hobbs as her running mate, the former Mesa mayor also:
