Litchfield Elementary School District is pursuing clinical training partnerships with two universities to provide graduate students with supervised experience in school settings.
The governing board considered an agreement with Abilene Christian University on Oct. 13 to provide clinical placements for students studying speech-language pathology.
A separate revised agreement with the University of South Dakota would allow graduate students studying speech-language pathology, audiology or both to complete supervised clinical experiences at district sites.
The South Dakota agreement also updates background check language.
Both agreements were reviewed by district legal counsel.
